Our client, a Construction Company based in Yemen, specializing in Electro-mechanical Construction Projects in the Oil & Gas Industry is immediately seeking highly motivated and experience professional with excellent track record to fill positions of:
1. PROJECT CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

Job Profile: These are field-based positions reporting to the Project Manager
Qualification criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Six years relevant work experience in construction QA/QC activities and project management.
• Able to create quality assurance plans based on project goals, resources, estimates, risks, etc.
• Must understand, interpret and implement applicable regulations within project regulatory jurisdiction.
• Computer literate and having good command of English language.
• ISO Lead Auditor certification or equivalent is preferred.

2. QC ENGINEER – MECHANICAL

Job Profile: These are field-bases positions reporting to the OA Manager
Qualification criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Must be AWS certified or equivalent.
• Five years relevant work experience in construction QC activities and project management
• Able to prepare methods statements and final project dossiers.
• Computer literate and having good command of the English language.
• ISO Internal Audit or any other certification will be added advantage.

3. QC ENGINEER – ELECTRICAL

Job Profile: These are field-based positions reporting to the OA Manager
Qualification criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• Five years relevant work experience in construction QC activities and project management
• Able to prepare methods statements and final project dossiers.
• Computer literate and having good command of the English language.
• Knowledge of electrical codes / standards.
• HV or any other certification and working in commissioning will be an added advantage.

4. PROPOSAL ENGINEER

Job Profile: These are office-based positions reporting to the Deputy General Manager

Qualifications criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Five years relevant work experience in contracts management and administration function.
• Good knowledge in tender bid preparation, commercial and insurance issues related to contracts and subcontracts.
• Experience in preparing budget & forecast, planning proposal and proposal support activities.
• Able to prepare methods statements and final project dossiers.
• Computer literate and having good command of the English language.
• Knowledge of engineering codes / standards.

5. QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Job Profile: These are field-based positions reporting to the Project Construction Manager.

Qualification criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Five years relevant work experience in Oil and Gas Industry.
• Able to prepare tender & contracts document, including bill of quantities and valuating completed work.
• Understands the implications of health and safety regulations
• Computer literate and having good command of the English language.

6. HSE SUPERVISOR

Job Profile: These are field-based positions reporting to the Corporate QHSE Manager.

Qualification criteria:

• Diploma level education in Engineering or equivalent.
• Nebosh / IOSH / OSHA certification
• Five years experience in the Oil and Gas / Petrochemical Industry
• Excellent knowledge of safety equipments
• OHSAS certification will be an added advantage.
